Overnight Boarding for Non-Social Dogs
What happens if my dog fails the temperament assessment or just doesn’t like playing with other dogs?
First of all, your dog cannot ‘fail’ the temperament assessment. The assessment might indicate that your dog does not enjoy socializing with other dogs in a play group – but that’s ok! Perhaps they enjoy sleeping and relaxing by themselves, or playing one-on-one with humans. Who doesn’t enjoy a little alone time, right?
If our temperament assessment shows that your pet is not a good candidate to be integrated into a group play with other dogs your pet will still be well cared for and will still receive plenty of play time outside the kennel. When they are in the yards, however, they will be out either by themselves or with their housemates only.
Our goal is to give your dog as much time outside of their kennel as possible while keeping them safe and happy.
Exercise Schedule for Non-Social Boarding Dogs
- 7:00 am -7:30 am: Morning Stretch
- 7:30 am: Breakfast
- 9:00 – 12:00 pm: Solo Play Rotation. If more than one non-social dog is in our care, they will be rotated, by themselves, into the play area hourly. We encourage owners with non-social dogs to bring a favorite toy for these occasions. A member of our kennel team will be available for one-on-one play time.
- 12:00-2:00: Nap Time.
- 2:00-4:00: Solo Play Rotation
- 4:30: Dinner & Rest
- 6:00-7:00: Evening Stretch
- 7:00 pm: Lights Out
